Vic Milford was originally from
Johannesburg, South Africa and became a valued member of the
Milwaukee community while working as an executive for Miller
Brewing Company. Tragically, Vic was killed in an apparent mugging
in Walker's point on Saturday, January 26, 2008. We are
here to remember his life and carry on his legacy of giving
to the community he knew and loved.
The Walk/Run will take place on
Saturday June 13 at 10:00 am. Registration begins at 8:30
am. There will be a minimum donation of $25 to enter. All
donations will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern
Wisconsin Inc, The Zoological Society of Milwaukee and PrideFest
Inc. Each person entered in the walk/run will receive one complimentary
admission to PrideFest the day of the run and a free T-shirt.
In Lieu of entering the Walk/Run donations can be made to the
Vic Milford Charity at any Tri City National Bank.
