As the largest LGBT Pride event on permanent festival grounds in the United States, Wisconsin's PrideFest has become a regional destination and a key element in the fabric that links members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered community. Founded in 1988 in a neighborhood park, the festival has more than doubled in size since its move to the Maier Festival Gounds, home to the world-famous Summerfest music festival. This successful and well-attended weekend event also gives members of the community at-large a chance to interact with and establish new relationships and connections with members of our LGBT family. PrideFest organizers and the hundreds of volunteers who continue to make this event a huge local, regional and national success have created an environment that celebrates and honors diversity, culture and unity.
Please help us continue PrideFest's tradition of linking communities, generations and diverse groups. We need your help to continue to grow the festival and to keep the numerous special events, performances, programs, speakers and activities as part of this extraordinary celebration.
