A press pass for working-staff is strongly encouraged if you plan to cover the event on-site. Not only does it give you complimentary access to our grounds, entertainment, and festival, it also identifies you to our patrons as someone who will most likely be publishing the photos they have taken.
A press pass will be required for access to all stage pit areas, pending artist/management approval.
Photo requirements change for each headline act, and those with a pit pass must adhere to the artist management rules or you will be escorted out of the area by PrideFest and/or Summerfest security. We will notify you about evenings rules when you check in for your pass on the grounds.
By participating as a photographer of the event, Milwaukee Pride Inc. reserves the right to use any and all images in marketing, advertising, and PR efforts. Photo credit will be issued to the photographer upon use or publication. Milwaukee Pride Inc. requests a copy of any and all images after the festival concludes.
We will allow up to 10 passes this year to hobby, or art photographers who are interested in capturing images of the festival. We will be interested in using your photos as well, in our marketing materials, and may assign you an area for some quick shots. This will also end up with photo credits for you.
Your application will be reviewed by the appropriate department and we will make every effort to respond within as soon as possible, however, response times can be affected due to the high volume of emails we receive each day.
